The history

More than 14 years ago the company Rüter was founded. The aim of the managing directors Paul and Eckhard Rüter was to combine two completely different fields of Know How. These were computer based racing calculation, a field on which Paul Rüter was already engaged over 30 years at that time and the special field of Mr. Eckhard Rüter, the microelectronic. Out of this combination they developed an electronic clocking system for pigeon sports. Eckhard Rüter: "At this time the challenge was to realize a system with modern and complicated electronic in a way that it is easy to handle and to operate for the user".

After succesful field tests and market introduction, TauRIS quickly became a well accepted system in the German pigeon sports. After Rüter EPV-Systeme GmbH under the magement of Eckhard Rüter seperated from the traditional way of the computer supported racing calculation, also foreign pigeon sport countries have been developed. Today TauRIS has become famous on the whole world and enjoys an excellent reputation.

The enterprise

Rüter EPV-Systeme originally founded for the development and the sales of TauRIS, today is an efficient and innovative electronic enterprise. Apart from TauRIS, the company also develops and produces for other applications of the contact free identification as well as location and navigation. The main business however is further on the pigeon sports with TauRIS. Here the nearness to the customers the fancier and the pigeon sport is very important! Thus for example each member of the staff attends regularly the Exhibitions in order to experience the pigeon branch very closely.

At Rüter EPV-Systeme GmbH you will find everything under one roof. A young and innovative team works hand in hand in the departments sales, technique, development and software, in order to ensure short delivery times and immediate technical advice. In the production the single components are checked carefully and are assembled to a complete system. After precise quality and end control the articles are ready for despatch. The sales department cares for a tight contact to the customers and dealers worldwide from the first advice and personal care up to the observatin of the delivery dates for the despatch department. For technical questions and help regarding operation or installation a competent technical team is at the fanciers disposal and cares for a smooth course of the flights at the customer with the 24-hour service and the telephone hotline during the season. In the development and software department an engaged team is responsible for the realization of new ideas. Here technical innovations from the company itself but also suggestions from the fanciers are realised. All this enables a quick reaction to the special request of the fanciers as well as best care for the customer after he has bought a system.

Our dedication

Rüter EPV-Systeme acts among other things as sponsor for the German Pigeon Champion Chip as well as sponsors on Olympiades. Furthermore Rüter supports projects, which bring together handicapped people with pigeon sports. A special concern of Rüter is to promote and support the initiative of the German Federation for young fanciers.

The future

Many important and revolutionary innovations in the field of electronic for pigeon sports originated from the company Rüter EPV-Systeme GmbH: The Electronic Clocking System TauRIS, the GPS-flight recorder, the automatic display of the arrival times in the internet and so on. The realization of such ideas was and still is only possible because the product TauRIS is firmly rooted with traditional enterprise Rüter EPV-Systeme GmbH. The originality and the personal dedication of the managing directors in the pigeon sports convey the security to the customers to be in good hands for years also in the future.
